Sometimes users may unable to access Network Drive folders and files from your Windows operating system. This tutorial will show you a step-by-step procedure
Please follow below simple steps to fix this issue.
Error: If you face this issue with Network Drives, all the folders & files will be displayed with a Grey cross mark as shown in the below image.
Try to disconnect and Re-connect the Network drive /Home Drive and restart the system and verify, if it is still repeating please Update group policies (from the start menu type gpupdate /force, and hit enter) and clear offline Cache from the registry
follow the below steps
Open Regedit with an Administrator account from the start menu from the windows system and go to the below path
Select CSC and create a key and type Parameters in the box.
Right-click on Parameters, point to New and then click on DWORD (32-bit)Value as shown below.
Type FormatDatabase, and then press Enter.
Right-click FormatDatabase, and then click Modify.
In the Value data box, type 1 and click OK.
Finally, exit Registry Editor and restart the computer to apply the changes.
